WINDEY's Green Methanol Project Passes International Certification for Carbon Emission Reduction throughout Life Cycle

On November 6, at the 7th China International Import Expo and the theme salon "Shipping Green Fuel Engine Injects Decarbonization Power into Global Trade" organized by COSCO Shipping Group, China Standard Inspection Co., Ltd. officially issued the life cycle carbon emission reduction certificate based on the ISCC system to WINDEY's Handan Green Methanol Project. This is another authoritative recognition to WINDEY's new energy consumption solution after WINDEY got the country's first ISCC EU certificate for green methanol raw material side with farms/plantations as the origin in September.

Recently, Phase I (100,000t Demonstration Project) of Alxa 500,000t/a Green Methanol Project was officially kicked off in the Alxa High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It’s worth saying that the Alxa 500,000t/a Green Methanol Project is China’s first 500,000-ton-level green methanol project in which green methanol is synthesized through ICCHP process (namely, coupling of water electrolysis for hydrogen production and carbon dioxide captured from industry).
